Despite missing a spot at the NBA All-Star game in Atlanta, Cavaliers third-year guard Collin Sexton, consistently surpasses other All-Star guards.
Keeping his head up with a positive outlook, Sexton remained humble and wasn't disappointed not to be chosen for the 2021 NBA All-Star game.
The Cavs faced the 76ers last Saturday, shining through with more energy as Sexton outplayed Ben Simmons.
The "Young Bull" received stitches at halftime during the game against the Houston Rockets on Monday night. Even then, he is still rather sensitive on his midrange touch. He still has pressure to improve on, but I can see him being an All-Star player in the future.
At 22 years old, averaging 23.8 points per game and 4.3 assists per game. Not making the All-Star game might have very well been the fire and spark he needed to get him going and prove to the world where he is meant to be.
The Cavs started to see a downturn in their season with consecutive losses, but they are making a huge comeback with their fourth straight win after defeating the Rockets on Monday night. Sexton put up 39 points, carrying the team on his back.
As long as Sexton can keep this consistency and raise his scoring average, he will be an All-Star player next year. Even better when Cleveland is hosting the weekend.
